UniCredit Bank Announces New "Saving " Deposit Account
OREANDA-NEWS. UniCredit Bank offers its customers of pension age to take advantage of the "Saving+" deposit account due to changes in tariffs on "Pension" card package. The changes will come into force on September 1, 2014.
In the frames of updated tariffs the interest rate that is charged on the balance of pension accounts will be 0% instead of 8%. The changes in tariff plan are connected with the implementation of a new law on taxation of passive income.
"According to the law №1588-VII, which came into force on 2 August this year, 15% tax is levied on interests charged on a balance of both the deposit and card accounts of individuals. Because of the nuances of the new legislation, we have had to cancel Interests within the "Pension" package and offer a more profitable alternative", explains Liliya Shevchuk, Head of Card Products at UniCredit Bank. “At the same time, we offer an advantageous alternative - "Savings+" card deposit. The interest rate on such deposits is by 5% per annum higher than the rate that was charged of the pension cards "- Liliya adds.
In addition to the attractive interest rate "Savings+" deposit account has a number of advantages. Among them there are: non-limiting period, no restrictions on the minimum amount of deposit, no restrictions on replenishment and withdrawal.
A replenishment of "Savings+" is available through the several channels: cash deck, ATM, Internet Banking and SMS Banking. Remittance of funds is free of charge.
More information about the change of the rates and "Saving+" deposit account is available at the official website of UniCredit Bank, in the branch or through the Contac-Center of the bank*.
