OREANDA-NEWS. In order to finance the formation of pension savings of insured persons who paid additional insurance premiums on a funded portion of their labor pension in 2013, in July of 2014, a part of the National Wealth Fund's financial resources in the foreign currencies in the Bank of Russia's accounts, namely, 0.04 billion US dollars, 0.03 billion euros and 0.01 pounds sterlings was sold for 3.06 billion rubles and the funds received was placed into the account to record funds of the federal budget.

As of August 1, 2014, the aggregate amount of the National Wealth Fund was 3 088.79 billion rubles which is equivalent to 86.46 billion US dollars including:
1) In separate accounts to record funds of the National Wealth Fund with the Bank of Russia:
* 24.42 billion US dollars;
* 23.97 billion euros;
* 4.35 billion pounds sterlings;
2) 474.02 billion rubles and 6.25 billion US dollars were deposited with Vnesheconombank.
3) under an individual decision by the Russian Government 3.00 billion US dollars were placed in debt instruments of foreign states without placing demands on long-term credit ratings.

The aggregate calculated income from placing funds of the National Wealth Fund in foreign currency accounts of the Bank of Russia recalculated in dollars for a period from January 15 to July 31, 2014, was 0.21 billion US dollars, which is equivalent to 7.45 billion rubles. The exchange rate difference from recalculating monetary resources of the Fundfrom January 1 to July 31, 2014 was200.58 billion rubles including:
* balances in foreign exchange accounts with the Bank of Russia - 172.84 billion rubles;
* funds deposited with Vnesheconombank in US dollars - 18.75 billion rubles;
* funds placed in debt instruments of foreign states under a separate decision of the Russian Government without placing demands on long-term credit ratings - 8.99 billion rubles.

In July of 2014, incomes from placing financial resources of the National Wealth Fund on Vnesheconombank's deposits were transferred in the federal budget in the amount of6.82 billion rubleswhich is equivalent to 0.20billion US dollars.The aggregate income from placing financial resources of the Fund on Vnesheconombank's deposits from January to June of 2014 was 22.01 billion rubles which is equivalent to 0.64 billion US dollars.
