OREANDA-NEWS. August 19, 2014. This was announced by the Minister of agriculture and food industry Vasile Bumacov on his page in the social network, congratulating farmers with the obtaining such results.

The average wheat yield made up approximately 3.5 tons per ha. "We have enough food wheat and feed grain for export," wrote Vasile Bumacov. The Agriculture Minister said that of the total harvest of wheat, 65% is food grain.

"The local market will receive 350 thousand tons of wheat; another 300 thousand tons will be exported. The livestock sector will receive 400 thousand tons of the fodder grain," said Vasile Bumacov.
