FAS “Hot Line” on Issues of Growing Prices Started Working
OREANDA-NEWS. August 18, 2014. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) opened the “hot line” for calls on the issues of increased prices.
Members of general public and economic entities can report information on the facts of fixing excessive retail and wholesale prices for food products, and wholesale prices for fish, agricultural products and raw materials.
These data will be used by the antimonopoly authority in an annual report aimed at exposing and suppressing speculative price increases.
The data are collected to execute the instructions of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, to monitor pricing in the Russian Federation.
