OREANDA-NEWS. Activity results for the six months of 2014.

On 12 August 2014 the Board of PC “Lithuanian Shipping Company" (LSC) has confirmed unaudited financial reports prepared according to the International Financial Reporting Standards for the period of six months of year 2014, ended on 30 June, 2014.

The income during January-June 2014 was LTL 36,8 million (EUR 10,7 million) . Compared to the income of six months 2013 - LTL 47,8 million LTL (EUR 13,8 million) it has decreased by 23%.

EBITDA during January- June 2014 was LTL 2.8 million (EUR 0,8 million). Compared to EBITDA of six months 2013 - LTL 1,2 million (EUR 0,4 million) it has increased 239%.

The loss during January-June 2014 was LTL 5,6 million (EUR 1,6 million). Compared to 2013 loss it decreased by 4,2 million LTL (EUR 1,2 million ) or by 43 %.

LSC long-term investments (ships' repairs) were not made during January-June, 2014. Long-term investments during the reporting period 2013 were LTL 4,7 million (EUR 1,4 million).
