OREANDA-NEWS. Ukrtelecom continues to expand the geography of the high-speed Internet throughout the country. In the first half of 2014 alone, the Operator provided the unlimited Internet access to 44 new settlements in 16 oblasts of Ukraine.

Thanks to Ukrtelecom, about 6 thousand residents of small villages and towns will be able to plunge into the world of the unlimited Internet. Subscribers are discovering entirely new opportunities for personal development and business. The arrival of the Internet also helps improve the economic situation in the regions.

The Operator, as a sustainable business, primarily provides the Internet access to schools and kindergartens, healthcare facilities, local governments, and other social facilities. Geographical expansion of the Internet services is one of the strategic objectives of the Company.

Ukrtelecom plans to increase the rate of the geographical expansion of the Internet services in various settlements of the country in the second half of 2014.
