OREANDA-NEWS. OJSC Siberian Coal Energy Company has published its new corporate social responsibility report. The report highlights SUEK's sustainable development activities for the period 2011-2013, and describes its strategy, principles and achievements in relation to its operations and its social and environmental policies, designed to benefit both the Company and society.

The document is SUEK's fifth corporate social responsibility report and has been prepared in accordance with the internationally recognised Sustainability Reporting Guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) to meet standard compliance level B+.

The key themes of the Report - economic efficiency, environmental protection activities, industrial safety, regional social programmes - were defined in line with SUEK's strategic objectives and the recommendations obtained during discussions with stakeholders.
