OREANDA-NEWS. August 15, 2014. E.ON Russia Surgutskaya GRES-2 received the Commemorative Token of the award established by System Operator of Unified Energy System (SO UES) OJSC "For considerable contribution to ensuring of reliable modes of UES of Russia."

E.ON Russia was awarded for the implementation of the project aimed at equipment of Surgutskaya GRES-2 with the power center emergency shutdown device on the modern microelectronic base, which extended the range of permissible power exchange between the Tyumen Region Energy System and part of the Unified Energy System of Urals.

The Commemorative Token was presented to Evgeniy Zhilyaev, Director of  Surgutskaya GRES-2, by Alexander Boyko, Deputy Director, Chief Dispatcher of SO UES OJSC Branch Regional Dispatching Office of the Tyumen Region Energy System.

– Emergency control tools have been implemented at Surgutskaya GRES-2, which ensures dynamic sustainability of operation not only of the station generators, but the entire Tyumen Energy System, – Alexander Boyko noted at the awarding ceremony.
