First Deputy PM of Kazakhstan Discusses Current Economic Situation
OREANDA-NEWS. August 14, 2014. First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev has held a teleconference meeting on the current economic situation in Ukimet Uiy.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the central government and local authorities.
As noted by Sagintaev, a global economic slowdown is observed.
Minister of National Economy Yerbolat Dossayev informed of the current economic situation and the possible risks for Kazakhstan connected with the EU and US sanctions against Russia and the Russian retaliatory sanctions.
The meeting also discussed the issues of the supply of the regions of Kazakhstan with oil and fuel and fill rate of the stabilization funds with food resources.
In order to ensure the economic security of the country Sagintayev stressed the need for action to ensure the smooth functioning of the economy.
In conclusion Bakytzhan Sagintayev gave instructions to the relevant state agencies and the administrations of the regions.
