OREANDA-NEWS. August 13, 2014. EMT will change its terms of service due to the upcoming merger of AS EMT (hereinafter EMT) and Elion Ettevotted Aktsiaselts (hereinafter Elion).

The terms will be changed in order to homogenize principles of EMT's and Elion's terms of service. EMT's new terms of service includes more specific rules for processing customer data, and also it specifies court jurisdiction in case of disputes. After the merger, AS Eesti Telekom will become the legal successor of EMT and Elion. AS Eesti Telekom will provide EMT and Elion services by using EMT and Elion brand names.

The renewed General Terms and Conditions will be available through EMT's website (www.emt.ee) and at EMT and Elion stores from July 31, 2014.

The new General Terms and Conditions will automatically enter into force for contracts made with EMT customers when the merger comes into force (between 2014/09/01 and 2014/09/04).

Information about the merger and the exact date when the new General Terms and Conditions will enter into force will be announced after the merger on EMT's website at www.emt.ee.
EMT customers who do not wish to use EMT's services under the changed General Terms and Conditions have a right to terminate their subscription agreement with EMT by notifying EMT before 2014/09/01.
