KCSR Names Daniel B. Bozung AVP Mechanical Operations
OREANDA-NEWS. The Kansas City Southern Railway Company (KCSR) has named Daniel B. Bozung assistant vice president mechanical operations. Mr. Bozung will lead the development of KCSR's new work management system and implement a technical training program for locomotive mechanics. He is based in Kansas City and reports to vice president mechanical operations Gary Jarboe.
"Dan leads with integrity, while exercising extraordinary business acumen," said Mr. Jarboe. "These are qualities that we always seek in our leadership team, and are especially important during this period of unprecedented growth."
Mr. Bozung joins KCSR from Caterpillar, Inc., where he held positions in marketing, corporate public affairs, and supply chain management. Prior to Caterpillar, he was an active duty Naval Officer and SH-60B "Seahawk" helicopter pilot, having made multiple overseas deployments in support of contingency operations. Mr. Bozung continues to serve in the U.S. Navy Reserves.
Mr. Bozung holds a master of business administration from Harvard Business School and a bachelor of science in political science from the U.S. Naval Academy.
