OREANDA-NEWS. August 11, 2014. The Federal Passenger Company, a subsidiary of Russian Railways, and the Latvian company CGCard LLC have signed a cooperation agreement. CGCard Ltd. presents the Riga CityGuideCard, a map of the city's tourist privileges.

The agreement was signed by Vladimir Kalyapin First Deputy Managing Director of the Federal Passenger Company, Yekaterina Morozova, Executive Director of CGCard, and Vladimir Galperin, Member of the Board of the Rimon publishing house, a co-founder of the CityGuideCard.

According to the agreement, passengers participating in the RZD Bonus loyalty programme can receive discounts of up to 20% when signing up to the tourist privileges of the CityGuideCard.

According to Vladimir Kalyapin, the Federal Passenger Company attaches great importance to cooperation with the Baltic countries. Kalyapin stressed that to date, more than 150 participants in the RZD Bonus loyalty programme have signed up for the tourist card privileges available on the CityGuideCard, which is part of a joint pilot project by launched the Federal Passenger Company and CGCard LLC this summer.

The Executive Director of CityGuideCard Ekaterina Morozova said that the Card is the only one with tourist privileges in Latvia.

"We help the tourist, firstly, to understand, and secondly, to save money," she said. "We have a very wide range of partners: museums, hotels, shops and restaurants. The card operates mainly in Riga as Latvia's most popular tourist destination, but we also have partners in Sigulda, Daugavpils and Liepaja."
