OREANDA-NEWS. August 11, 2014. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) organized a meeting of the Working Group to discuss provisions of the Concept for developing security law, which is an element of the Road Map for “Developing Competition and Improving the Antimonopoly Policy in Security Activities”.

Participants exchanged opinions about the basic principal provisions to be used as the guidance for drafting new security law, and concluded that it is necessary to additionally refine the presented version of the Concept.

Members of the Working Group emphasized the importance of the discussed problems related to legal regulation of the industry, and the need to resolve them with joint efforts.

It is planned that the Working Group will study and discuss in more detail amendments to the current security law of the Russian Federation, specified in the “Road Map”.
