RF Presents New rules for Disclosing Information on Transporting Gas
OREANDA-NEWS. August 11, 2014. The Ministry of Justice registered (Registration No.33342) No. 231/14 Order of the Federal Antimonopoly Service “On Approving Forms, Deadlines, and Frequency of Information Disclosure by Holders of Natural Monopolies Rendering Services for Gas Transportation via Pipelines” of 7th April 2014. The Order abolishes No. 893 FAS Order “On Approving Forms, Deadlines, and Frequency of Information Disclosure by Holders of Natural Monopolies Rendering Services for Gas Transportation via Pipelines” of 23.12.2011.
No. 231/14 Order is drafted by the Federal Antimonopoly Service jointly with “Gazprom” OJSC, “Gazprom Gazoraspredelenie” OJSC, “Gazprom Razvitie” Ltd., “Gazprom Promgaz” OJSC, “Mosoblgaz” State Unitary Enterprise of the Moscow Region to execute Clause 1 of the Action Plan towards developing competition on the gas markets and in the field of pipeline transportation, approved by No. 115-r Order of the Government of the Russian Federation of 3rd February 2014.
No. 231/14 Order establishes new forms and deadlines of information disclosure by holders of natural monopolies providing services for gas transportation via pipelines, is aimed at increasing transparency of providing information to such entities and obtaining detailed information about availability of free capacities for gas transportation via gas pipelines.
