OREANDA-NEWS. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company paid indemnity in the amount of RUB 170 m to three companies: Armada LLC, Contour LLC, and Vostok-98 LLC due to a fire at the tobacco products warehouse in Rostov-on-Don.

The inventories of Armada LLC, Contour LLC, and Vostok-98 LLC, stored in a warehouse in the Sovetsky District of the city, were insured by Ingosstrakh Insurance Company against fire, water damage, burglary and robbery, malicious acts of third parties, and other risks.

The fire occurred on October 11, 2013, breaking out on the first floor of a brick building where the tobacco warehouse was located. By the time the fire units arrived, fire spread over an area of 400 sq. m. The fire was assigned the third number of the severity rating, and 13 vehicles were used to extinguish it.

The fire was recognized as an insured event, and Ingosstrakh Insurance Company paid compensation pursuant to the terms of the insurance contracts. Vostok-98 LLC was paid about RUB 25 m with due account for the franchise; Armada LLC, RUB 30.5 m; Contour LLC, RUB 114.6 m.
