OREANDA-NEWS. In the first half of 2014 IDGC of Centre performed 21,131 contracts for grid connection with a capacity of 428.1 MW, which is 23% more than the same period last year.

Major large grid connection contracts implemented in the first half are: IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division executed a large grid connection contract with a Branch of OJSC "Rosenergoatom" - "Management of Novovoronezh NPP-2 under construction" at 16 MW; IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division performed a large grid connection contract with OJSC "Engineering and Investment Company" with a total capacity of 6.3 MW; IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division executed a stage of a grid connection contract with LLC "Revival" at 5 MW.

In the category of applicants with maximum power up to 150 kW in the first half of this year 20,889 grid connection contracts were implemented.

In accordance with the priorities of IDGC of Centre to shorten the grid connection of the maximum power up to 150 kW and for the execution of the "Road map", the company plans by 2017 to reduce the time of execution of grid connection contracts down to 40 days.

To achieve these goals branches of IDGC of Centre are actively working with Regional authorities to optimize the grid connection procedure, namely in terms of changes to documents, accelerating the process of land allocation for construction of energy infrastructure, reducing the time for issuing local government permissions for earthworks.

So in July 2014 in the Yaroslavl region amendments to the Law "On urban planning" entered into force. The document expands the list of facilities, construction and reconstruction of which does not require passing the approval procedures by the relevant authorities. In particular, cable and overhead power lines of 0.4 - 10 kV are related to them now, which in the region under the management of IDGC of Centre- Yarenergo division.
