OREANDA-NEWS. August 08, 2014. The Tourism Agency launched a new spot for promoting Moldova during a news conference.

The video spot’s message is an appreciation given by Lonely Planet, the largest publisher of travel guides worldwide, which named Moldova “number one unexplored tourist destination in Europe.”.

Agency’s director Nicolae Platon said the new spot fit the tourist offer and Moldova’s position, which made us different from other tourist destinations.

“In August and September, the video spot will be intensively promoted in Moldova; in October, it will be made public online in Europe, and starting from November, it will reach other TV channels of the world”, Platon said.

The spot includes video scenes with a beautiful landscape of Moldova, music is provided by young artist Andrew Rayel, and the sound of the message belongs to British Ambassador to Chisinau Phil Batson.

The project was implemented by the Tourism Agency in partnership with the private sector and United States Agency for International Development.

In 2013, Moldovan accommodation units hosted about 95,600 foreigners.
