GE Appoints Three New Company Officers
OREANDA-NEWS. GE announced today the appointment of three new Company officers. GE has 195 officers globally who lead large revenue-generating businesses or are in critical technology or functional roles, helping to drive growth.
Robert Y. Casper, 50, has been named vice president and chief data officer for GE Capital. Casper joined GE from Morgan Stanley, where he held a succession of leadership roles, most recently as managing director, holding senior roles in Risk, IT and Data. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 1994, Casper was an associate with Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College and earned his Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law.
Fengming Liu, 56, has been named vice president and general counsel, Government Affairs & Policy - Greater China for GE's Global Growth Organization. Prior to joining GE in 2011, Liu held fellowships at both Harvard Law School and Princeton University. He previously served as vice president and Associate General Counsel for Microsoft in Beijing, China.Liu holds a bachelor's degree from Peking University in Peking, China and earned his Juris Doctorate from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. He also holds a Master's of Law degree from the University of Washington in Seattle.
Dominique Malenfant, 52, has been named vice president of global technology for GE Transportation. Malenfant joined GE from Bombardier Transportation, where he has held a series of leadership roles since joining in 1991. Most recently, he served as vice president - global product and engineering - Propulsion & Control Business Unit. Malenfant holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Laval University in Quebec City, Quebec.
