OREANDA-NEWS. August 06, 2014. Kommersant-Dengi magazine has ranked Sviaz-Bank (Vnesheconombank Group) among Russia’s 50biggest banks in the total amount of loans they had issued to individuals by July 1, 2014.

The Bank had issued almost 55.5 billion rubles in consumer loans, a large enough amount for it to be placed 30th in the magazine’s rankings. The loans issued for consumer needs amount to 16.34% of the Bank’s assets and 28.73% of its total loan portfolio.

Sviaz-Bank offers a long line of consumer loans, including standard loans made at an interest rate starting at 22.9% per annum up in rubles, up from 12.9% per annum issued to employees of public service institutions, members of the armed forces, and employees of partner companies, and a refinancing program for borrowers of other banks at a starting minimum interest rate of 12.9%.

Sviaz-Bank may issue consumer loans for time periods of up to 60 months and in amounts ranging from 30,000 rubles to 3 million rubles.
