Gazprom Energoholding Increases Pace of Import Substitution
OREANDA-NEWS. Gazprom Energoholding LLC increases pace of dependency reduction of the generating companies' servicing and repairs from international suppliers of gas turbine equipment.
The Boards of Directors of JSC Mosenergo, JSC TGC-1, and JSC WGC-2 have approved concluding long-term contracts with TER-Service LLC for servicing and maintenance of gas turbine equipment. TER-Service will provide maintenance of new power generating units at CHPP-12, CHPP-21, CHPP-27, gas turbine unit GTE-65 at CHPP-9 of JSC Mosenergo, primary equipment of CCGT unit 450 MW at the Pravoberezhnaya CHPP-5 of TGC-1's Nevskiy Branch, and primary equipment of two CCGT units 180 MW at Adler thermal power plant, which is a branch of JSC WGC-2.
Furthermore, Gazprom Energoholding Group has resolved to enter in contracts with CJSC Ural Turbine Plant for production of spare parts for a majority of gas turbines. Earlier spare parts for all gas turbines were procured by generating companies from international producers.
The total contractual cost will be over RUB 10 billion.
Import substitution activities carried out by Gazprom Energoholding Group will result in placement of long-term orders with Russian R&D companies and production facilities for development and manufacturing of science-driven high-tech products.
