OREANDA-NEWS. The Board of Deputies of the city of Kirovsk of the Murmansk Oblast has granted the Apatitskaya CHPP of TGC-1 the status of a unified heat supply company in the city of Kirovsk and the Kukisvumchorr district.

The Tariff Regulation Authority of the Murmansk Oblast has established the final heat tariff for residents of Kirovsk to become effective from 01 August 2014 total of 2,727.94 RUB/Gcal which is a 59 rouble decrease compared to the tariff in effect since 01 July 2014. The tariff for residents of Apatity is 1,527.11 RUB/Gcal, which is a 98 rouble decrease compared to the tariff in foce since 01 July 2014.

"The status of a Unified Heat Supply Company received by the Apatitskaya CHPP is one of the stages of the project for construction of the heat supply network which connected the heat generating company with users in Kirovsk", - explained Alexander Antipov, Director of the TGC-1's Kolskiy Branch. - "The Apatitskaya CHPP will be responsible for heat supply to the city of Kirovsk and the Kukisvumchorr district, will control the heat consumption modes and ensure settlements discipline".

The new heat network was commissioned in September 2013 and resulted in closing down the fuel oil boiler houses of JSC Apatit which used to supply heat to the city of Kirovsk and the Kukisvumchorr district.
