OREANDA-NEWS. KDDI announced the financial results for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2015.

In the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2015, consolidated operating revenues increased 2% year on year, to JPN 1,020.6 billion.

Consolidated operating income was up 9%, to JPN 194.8 billion, mainly due to the contribution of sharply higher mobile communications revenues in the Personal Services segment.

KDDI have achieved 27% of our consolidated operating income target for the full fiscal year, meaning that KDDI are well on our way toward our second consecutive year of double-digit growth.
