OREANDA-NEWS. August 01, 2014. President held meeting on topical issues of socio-economic development of the country, the press service of Acorda reports.

Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov, Head of the President’s Administration N.Nigmatullin and Assistant to the President E.Orynbayev attended the meeting.

Participants discussed the results of socio-economic development of the country for seven months of this year, implementation of measures to ensure Kazakhstan’s entering the 30 developed countries in the world, as well as priorities for the coming period.

Nursultan Nazarbayev noted the need for holding an enlarged cabinet meeting on key issues of economy and social sphere.

In addition, various aspects of the possible impact of the political situation in Ukraine and related international events on development of the domestic economy were discussed.

Following the meeting, the Head of State gave a series of specific instructions.
