Sale of Swedish Shipyard Activities ThyssenKrupp to Saab Completed
OREANDA-NEWS. July 31, 2014. The sale of the Swedish shipyard ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems AB (formerly Kockums) with facilities in Malmo, Karlskrona and Musko to Saab is complete. With the closing today ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions received the purchase price of 340 million Swedish kronor (around EUR37 million).
The sale of the shipyard was announced at the end of June this year but was subject to the approval of the board and supervisory bodies of the ThyssenKrupp Group as well as the Swedish Competition Authority.
