Doctor Web Updates Components in Dr.Web 9.1 Products for Windows
OREANDA-NEWS. Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated a number of components in Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web 9.1 for Windows and in Dr.Web Enterprise Security. The update delivers fixes of the following defects:
Defective routines of the component Dr.Web Protection for Windows (09.01.01.07230); A Dr.Web Control Service (9.1.1.07221) launching issue that occurred at start up on machines running certain editions of Windows, mostly Windows XP; A SpIDer Agent for Windows (9.1.1.201407240) defect related to displaying the path to disarmed malware in the Quarantine manager. Upgrades made to the Dr.Web Scanning Engine (9.1.1.201407210), Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API (9.1.1.201407210) and Anti-virus agent for networks with Active Directory (for Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 10.0) have contributed to the increased stability and reliability of the components.
Also corrected were SpIDer Agent for Windows issues related to the data protection settings window and the license key renewal process in home products.
The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
