OREANDA-NEWS. July 29, 2014. This was stated by Prime Minister of Romania Victor Ponta, noting that Moldova is in a difficult situation due to economic sanctions imposed by Russia.

The Romanian head of government said that he discussed with Moldovan counterpart Iurie Leanca the current situation and possible measures of support of Romania to Moldova.

Victor Ponta noted that the Minister of agriculture of Romania Daniel Constantin discussed with the European Commissioner for agriculture by Dacian Ciolos the possibility of supporting Moldova. The Romanian Prime Minister said that Romania will render all support to increase quotas on deliveries of Moldovan agricultural and food products to the EU.
