OREANDA-NEWS. July 29, 2014. NORVIK BBANKA has supported the Riga Municipality?s Children and Youth Centre (hereinafter - RPBJC) by donating 1,000 EUR for repair of its structural unit Imanta, which is home for more than 60 children. NORVIK BANKA encourages also the society to participate in this charitable action, which will take place from July 21 to August 17, during which NORVIK BANKA will double every euro donated.

"I am delighted that NORVIK BANKA has taken the initiative to support our Imanta unit and involve the society in this initiative. We are going to invest the donated funds in acquisition of new kitchen equipment and replacement of surface of the internal staircase, which would improve significantly the children?s everyday life,” says Ausma Bakane, the Head of the Imanta unit.

"I feel genuine respect for Ausma Bakane, who is a person with big heart and enormous energy, and who cares to ensure proper home for many children with severe fate. If our donation helps these children a very little more, then I encourage all of us to make it by combined efforts," says Valentina Keisa, Vice-President for International Affairs at NORVIK BANKA.

On the date of transferring the funds, exhibition of children?s drawings will be displayed at the Head Office of NORVIK BANKA on 21 E. Birznieka-Upisa Street. Bank?s total donation limit is EUR 5,000.
