OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus' OAO Gorodeya Sugar Refinery (based in Minsk Region) is due to hold a tender to choose a supplier of sugar packaging equipment.

The refinery plans to invest in new equipment as much as €1.4 million.

The refinery plans to replace manual packing equipment with a net line to pack sand sugar into 25-50 kilo bags, place them on palettes, wrap them in heat shrinkable plastic. The packing line must be complete with a labelling facility and a metal detector.

Gorodeya Sugar Refinery was founded in 1959. The company processes sugar beet and sugar cane.
