In July 2014 Vneshprombank successfully passed audit procedure against compliance with PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) - the leading standard, which is designed to ensure the safe handling, storage and transmission of cardholders' data in the information systems of companies working with international payment systems such as Visa, MasterCard and others. The audit was conducted by Sysnet Global Solutions company, following the results of the audit Vneshprombank received Certificate of Compliance.

PCI DSS requirements are aimed at comprehensive protection of confidential information, and include not only the requirements for the processing solution, but also for the physical security of data through a variety of measures: from the encryption of cardholders' data during transmission over communication channels and monitoring of network resources to assignment of data access permission on a need to know basis.
