Bank of Moscow Started Paying Insurance Compensations to Depositors
OREANDA-NEWS. The Bank of Moscow, acting on behalf of the DIA as an Agent Bank, starting from July 24, 2014 began paying insurance compensations to depositors of Retail Crediting Company Commercial Bank, OJSC.
The Bank of Moscow is accepting applications on compensations payment and other necessary documents, as well as paying compensations to depositors of RCC CB, OJSC related to accounts (deposits), opened both for business and non-business activities. Payments will be performed till January 24, 2015 (after that the payments will be performed through another Agent Bank or the DIA itself).
The Bank of Moscow decided to satisfy the needs of RCC CB, OJSC clients and to pay insurance compensations even in those cities where branch offices RCC CB, OJSC were earlier opened. Thus, insurance compensations to depositors of RCC CB, OJSC are to be paid in all offices of Moscow and Moscow region, as well as in several regional offices. You can clarify offices of the Bank of Moscow, where payments are to be performed, on the web-site of the Bank of Moscow in Payments to depositors of banks for insured events section.
Compensations on deposits are paid to the depositor in the amount of 100 percent of the sum of all his/her accounts (deposits) in the bank, including those, opened for business purposes, but not more than 700 thousand roubles in total. For bank deposits (accounts) in foreign currency insurance compensations are calculated in roubles at the rate of the Bank of Russia on the date of the license revocation — July 11, 2014. If there are counter-claims of the bank to a depositor, the sum of corresponding claims is deducted from deposits (accounts) amount, at calculation of the sum of insurance compensation.
The amount of deposits (accounts), not compensated by insurance police, will be paid during the liquidation of the bank, as a part of the first round claims of creditors (for accounts, opened for business purposes — as a part of the third round claims). If after a reimbursement payment a bank depositor still has an outstanding part of his/her bank deposit (account), he/she can file a creditor’s claim against the bank directly in the office of the Bank of Moscow, immediately after the payment of insurance compensation.
