OREANDA-NEWS. The first phase of commissioning has been successfully accomplished within the construction of 420 MW combined-cycle power plant at Serovskaya GRES. EPC-Contractor is JSC “E4 Group”. Customer is JSC “OGK-2”.

Technological connection to the grid was completed and a back-up auxiliary transformer energized. That allowed energizing the in-house switchgear and connecting all the facilities of the power plant being constructed to a permanent power source.

According to Ilya Axenov, Executive of JSC “E4 Group” Branch office in Serov: “Permanent power supply is a crucial factor for successful commissioning of the main and auxiliary equipment.”

The construction of 420 MW CCPP of Serovskaya GRES will allow solving energy deficit in Serovo-Bogoslavskiy center of the Ural region. Currently, energy deficit is 700 MW.
