OREANDA-NEWS. 2,225,788 passengers used the Ural Airlines services in the first 6 months of 2014. The air carrier's passenger traffic has increased by 20% YOY vs. 2013. 1 January through 30 June, Ural Airlines' liners carried out 18,243 flights; these include 5,870 international, 8,195 within Russia, and 4,178 flights to the CIS countries. The company's passenger traffic YTD at the end of June increased by 17% vs. 2013, equalling to 5,846,954 thousand passenger kilometres.

528,583 passengers were carried in June, which is an increase of 16% YOY. 3,933 flights were carried out; these include 1,407 international, 1,930 within Russia, and 596 flights to the CIS countries. The number of flights carried out increased by 17% YOY. Actual passenger traffic in June 2014 was 1,354,138 thousand passenger kilometers, which is an increase of 12% YOY.
