OREANDA-NEWS. July 24, 2014. China Coal Energy Co Ltd, the country's second largest coal miner by revenue, has said that its commercial coal output increased 11.3% year on year to 10.4 million tons in Jun 2014.

Last month, the company sold 13.68 million tons of coal, 3.6% more than in the same month of 2013.

In the first half of this year, the company's output of commercial coal amounted to 60.48 million tons, up 2.8% year on year, while its coke output for the period hit 0.96 million tons, up 4.3% year on year.

From Jan to Jun, China Coal Energy sold a total of 75.13 million tons of coal, reflecting a decrease of 0.1% year on year.
