OREANDA-NEWS. July 24, 2014. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) imposed fines upon “AUCHAN” Ltd. for the total sum - 62 million RUB.

The Antimonopoly Service found that the company violated Clause 1 Part 1 Article 13 of the Law on Trade. The FAS Commission established that “AUCHAN” Ltd. created discriminatory conditions for suppliers of milk and dairy products by fixing different prices for the same services aimed at product promotion.

Overall, the Antimonopoly Service initiated 85 cases on administrative violations. On 25th June and 16th July 2014, upon the results of investigating 31 cases, FAS imposed administrative fines upon “AUCHAN” Ltd. - 2 million RUB in each case.
