OREANDA-NEWS. The Gazprom Neft retail network is inviting students and post-graduates at higher educational establishments in Ivanovo, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod and St Petersburg to submit their ideas for ecological initiatives to be introduced throughout the company's filling stations.

The project is being implemented by major universities and other higher educational establishments active in the training and development of environmental specialists, throughout the Central, North-West and Privolzhsykiy Federal Regions -all areas in which the Gazprom Neft retail network is preeminent

The competition is targeted at highlighting issues relating to environmental protection, and at promoting environmental education and awareness among young people. In evaluating each of the projects, judges will be focussing on the viability of their practical implementation, as well as their ecological and economic effectiveness.

Applications may be submitted in any format by 30 September 2014. Authors of winning projects will be awarded prizes, and offered the opportunity to undertake a secondment in the environmental protection division of the Gazprom Neft retail network. The project deemed to offer the greatest potential in terms of benefit to the environment and economic viability will be implemented throughout the Gazprom Neft filling station network.
