OREANDA-NEWS. ASTARTA's subsidiaries in Poltava and Kharkiv regions successfully harvested early grain crops. Wheat, rye and barley were harvested from the area of above 30 thousand ha. Harvested grains are of higher food grades. Consistent adherence to agricultural technologies contributed to high yields. The average yield of wheat is about 5 tons per one ha, which is 5% higher y-o-y and more than 30% higher than the Ukrainian averages.

ASTARTA's subsidiaries are continuing harvesting campaign in the Western regions, where crops mature normally later than in the Eastern part of the country. After completing harvesting of early crops the Group is going to harvest soy and sunflower.
