OREANDA-NEWS. July 22, 2014. ALTEL affiliated company of Kazakhtelecom JSC that provides mobile communication serviced from 1994  in RK expands coverage zone launching today 4G data transfer network to commercial exploitation in Kyzylorda.

New mobile network ALTEL allows using mobile internet access with a speed to 100 Mbit/sec that in 5-7 quicker than previous generation communications. In the beginning of the autumn launching of GSM/UMTS is planed in Kyzylorda.

By words of Irina Savina, Chief commercial director of ALTEL JSC, individual approach to a client worked out in the company. "In our sales and service center ALTEL in Kyzylorda, located on 50, Abay St., JET subscribers can exchange its devices to analogous devices of 4G.  New subscribers can get various actions and discounts for purchase LTE equipment and connection to tariff plans on data transfer. Thus, for instance, for 4 900 tenge you can purchase 4G USB-modem and get 99 Gb of internet traffic for free", - underlined Irina Savina.

Thanks to increase of information transfer speed in LTE network, ALTEL subscribers can get new multi media services, including video – and music content in a high quality, multi users games, monitoring systems, video conferences, interactive online –applications and others.

LTE network was launched in Kazakhstan in a range of frequency 1800 MHz in Astana and Almaty on 25 December 2012 within execution of errand of the President of RK and realization of program on strategic development of broadband data transfer. In December 2013 the network appeared in Aktau, Aktobe, Atyrau, Yessik, Kapchagay, Karaganda, Kaskelen, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Schuchinsk, Shymkent, Talgar. On 15 May 2014 ALTEL launched first in Kazakhstan multi technological network 4G/3G/2G in Almaty, Astana, Karaganda, Aktobe, Atyrau, Aktau, Shymkent and Ust-Kamenogorsk. Launching of innovation network in other cities of the republic is planned.

LTE networks launched in over 100 world countries, total number of LTE users in the world composes 135 million, main share of which is in USA, South Korea and Japan.
