OREANDA-NEWS. Ukrtelecom summarizes the first results of the Internet subscribers' connection to the updated schedule of rates. During the month, about 40 thousand of both existing and new customers chose the new rates.

Ukrtelecom worked out the plans depending on customers' Internet use pattern. In addition, the rates are segmented into 4 geographical groups according to the size of residential areas. The name of each plan corresponds to the speed of the Internet access. Simple and attractive plans from Ukrtelecom are available throughout Ukraine.

New rates provide residents of major cities and administrative centers with faster Internet speed for the same money. In other residential areas Two and Five plans have gained particular popularity.

In addition, program of subscriber line performance improvement is still relevant for customers in small towns. According to its terms and conditions, each customer can choose the optimal speed within the peak performance of his/her line. During its implementation, technical experts of Ukrtelecom optimized about 520 thousand lines of Internet connection. In this case, bandwidth increases by an average of 2.7 times - from 5.5 Mbps to 15 Mbps.
