Belarus' Farm Output Decreases 4.3% in Jan-Jun 2014
OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus' farm output decreased 4.3% on the year in January-June 2014 to 37.4 trillion Belarusian rubles (USD 3.649 billion at the official exchange rate), a source in the National Statistics Committee (Belstat) told.
Sales of fattened cattle and poultry reduced 2.3% on the year in January-June 2014 to 726,400 million tonnes, milk output reduced 0.5% to 3.107 million tonnes, and egg output went up 3.8% to 1.425 billion units.
The value of overdue accounts payable in the agricultural sector stood at Br9.44 trillion (USD 921.015 million) as of June 1, 2014, which accounts for 20.8% of the total value of accounts payable in the country.
Accounts payable overdue expanded 1.7% month on month as of June 1, 2014, up 22.5% year on year.
