OREANDA-NEWS. July 18, 2014. The delegation of the National Space Agency (NCA) headed by Kazkosmos chairman Talgat Mussabayev is on a working visit to the UK, Farnborough Airshow.

Farnborough Air Show is a world-famous biennial event at Farnborough Airport which attracts crowds in excess of 250,000. The week-long event, put on by Farnborough International Limited, combines a major trade exhibition for the aerospace and defence industries with a public airshow, plus a static exhibition of aircraft and a children's funfair.

In the framework of the Farboro-2014 exhibition Talgat Mussabayev held meetings with the director of the UK Space Agency and the leader of SSTL Martin Swing space company David Parker.

Head Kazkosmos on behalf of Kazakhstan took part in the signing ceremony for the purchase of seven aircraft for "Bek Air" company.

NSA representatives visited the pavilions of the French and Russian companies which are strategic partners of Kazakhstan NSA.

In particular, during the meeting with the general director of the Russian company "Information Satellite Systems named after Reshetnev" Nicholay Testoedov the parties discussed further cooperation in the field of satellite systems.

Kazkosmos delegation left to the city of Bordeaux where the next meeting of the Supervisory Board of the joint venture "Galam" will take place.
