Export of Moldovan Goods to Russia Decreases by 28,6%
OREANDA-NEWS. July 17, 2014. As it was informed in the National Bureau of statistics, for the same period the deliveries of Russian products to Moldova have decreased by 9%, in the amount of USD 312,4 million and the share of Russia in total volume of Moldavian export has decreased from 28.4 percent to 19.9%, and in imports - from 16.1% to 14.9%.
Negative trade balance of Moldova with Russia in January-May 2014 made up USD 119.9 million, having increased by 62,1 percent compared with the same period of 2013. The basis of Moldovan exports to Russia is traditionally agricultural and food products - wine, cognac, canned vegetables, juices.
The largest share in total imports from Russia is energy resources. Data from the National Bureau of statistics does not take into account trade-economic operations of enterprises of the Transnistrian region.
