OREANDA-NEWS. July 16, 2014. The agreement was signed by Premier of Moldova Iurie Leanca and FRG Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Berlin.

The agreement creates prerequisites for implementing water supply and water treatment projects in rural areas, enhancing local public services, consolidating abilities of public institutions and creating the national metrology and quality control infrastructure in Moldova.

At their meeting, the Ministers were discussing the Moldovan-German cooperation, Moldova’s relations with the EU and recent regional developments. The FRG Foreign Minister said the signing of the association agreement would deepen the development cooperation between Moldova and Germany.
