As it was informed in the Ministry of economy, net sales of industrial output in January-March this year in comparison with the same period of the last year has increased: FEZ "Balti - by 2,4 times- up to 210,4 million lei; Ungheni-Business – by 1.3 times up 364,4 million lei, "Valcanesti"- by 13.9%- to USD 60.6 million lei. FEZ "Expo-Business-Chisinau" production fell by 3.9% and FEZ "Tvardita" - by 56.8%.

According to the Ministry of economy, in I quarter of 2014 in free economic zones of Moldova issued: 2.6 million covers for car; an insulated electric cable - 103.6 million lei; electric cables for cars in the amount 106.8 million lei; 1 million square meters of carpets; furniture - by 12.2 million lei; 37.8 thousand dal. of cognac; to 108.2 thousand dal. of wine; 3.9 million square meters of glass fiber mesh; 178 tons of wool yarn; 205 tons of synthetic filaments; 139 tons of sausage products; 2.1 thousand tons of fuel oil, etc. The biggest part of industrial output produced in FEZ of Moldova in the I quarter, in particular, in the amount of 629.1 million lei (84,7% of the total) was exported.

The domestic market production was sold for 23.8 million lei (3.2% of total volume). Products for 89,8 million lei (12,1% of the total) was in FEZ. In general, the export of goods and services of SEZ in I quarter of 2014 increased by 11% and amounted to 652,5 million lei (8.5% of total exports of Moldova for the specified period). The rest of industrial output of warehouses residents on 1 April of this year amounted to 89.2 million lei, exceeding by 59.7% the indicators of the same period of the last year.

In the first quarter of this year the volume of sales of services for sorting, packing, marking and other similar operations with goods transited through the customs territory of Moldova, grew up 65.1% to 5.2 million lei.

In addition, revenues from foreign trade by FEZ residents in January-March this year amounted to 18.3 million lei, decreasing by 70.9% compared to the same period in 2013 Along with industrial production, FEZ residents of Moldova also provide additional services, such as rent, construction, catering, customs clearance. In the first quarter of this year the volume of sales in this area amounted to 29.7 million lei, decreasing by 2 times compared to the same period in 2013 In general sales volume of FEZ on all activities amounted in January-March this year 795,8 million lei vs. 722,1 million lei at the same period of the last year.
