OREANDA-NEWS. July 16, 2014. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) issued a warning to “Sakhalin Energy Investment Company Ltd.” (“Sakhalin Energy”) to stop actions that have signs of violating the antimonopoly law.

The company avoided concluding a contract with “Rosneft” NK” OJSC for connecting (technological connection) to trans-Sakhalin pipeline system that belongs to “Sakhalin Energy Investment Company Ltd.” and providing gas-transportation services through the gas pipeline, over volumes of oil produced under the agreement on developing Piltun-Astokhsky and Lunsky oil and gas fields under the conditions of dividing the products, concluded with the Russian Federation in 1994.

Under the warning, the company must consider the applications received from “Rosneft” NK” OJSC and, if there is economic and (or) technological possibility, make a decisions on concluding contracts for connecting (technological connection) to trans-Sakhalin pipeline system that belongs to “Sakhalin Energy investment Company Ltd.”, as well as providing services gas transportation services through the gas pipeline.
