New Appointments in PwC CEE Made
OREANDA-NEWS. July 16, 2014. Olga Grygier has been elected as new PwC CEE CEO. Before Olga was the CMP of Poland and has served on the CEE Management Board for nearly five years.
Igor Lotakov, CEE Assurance Leader
As a part of a reorganisation of the CEE Leadership, Igor Lotakov is taking up the role of CEE Assurance Leader with effect from 1 July 2014. In addition to his regional leadership role, he will continue as a client service partner in Russia. For the past 3 years, Igor has served as Assurance Leader for Russia. He joined PwC in 1995 as an auditor and served as CEE Oil and Gas leader and Russian Assurance EU&M Leader. He went on secondment to PwC Houston, where he worked for major oil and gas clients. He is a member of ACCA and CFA charterholder.

Piotr Romanowski is taking over as CEE Advisory Leader. Piotr joined PwC in Warsaw in April 2011, as the leader of our Financial Services Advisory practice and then took over as CEE Financial Services leader in 2013. He has led the charge with a number of landmark client wins across the region.
David John will continue as CEE TLS Leader, a role he has held since July 2013. He will also continue to play a leading role on a number of regional clients. Before joining the regional leadership, he worked as Russia TLS leader. David came to CEE on secondment from PwC UK. He served on the Tax Leadership Team for the UK firm and also served as Tax Leader for the Midlands Region in the UK and Markets Leader for the Mid Cap sector.
Paul Stewart has been appointed as Transformation Leader, and will operate with a wide remit to develop a collaborative market culture, while improving accountability for performance. Paul will also lead initiatives to strengthen leadership and talent development across CEE. Paul has served on the Management Board as the Managing Partner - Human Capital since January 2013. He joined PwC in 2003 and since then has worked as the partner in charge of the St Petersburg office, TLS leader in the Czech Republic, CEE TLS HC partner and Global TLS HC partner.
Pawel Peplinski will continue in the role of COO. Pawel has worked in the regional COO role since January 2013 and also serves as the COO for Russia. Pawel continues to bring a wealth of experience to this role, having worked 28 years in the profession and 19 years with PwC. He was the Assurance leader for the Northern Region, and prior to that was the CIPS leader in Poland. As a client service partner, he has led audits for a large number of Polish and multinational clients.
