BSUIR Students Obtain IBM Certificates
OREANDA-NEWS. July 16, 2014. Students of Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR) received IBM certificates following a successful completion of the course Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Using IBM WebSphere.
The SOA course was conducted at Academic Center of IBM Competences located in Minsk, Belarus and within the IBA Group's CSR Program. The training was focused on a comprehensive vision of the software development process.
In 2008, IBA Group organized a joint IBA — BSUIR IT laboratory at BSUIR. In 2011, IBA upgraded the laboratory, creating the Academic Center of IBM Competences. At present, the Academic Center of IBM Competences in Belarus is a unique facility that provides advanced studies of IBM technologies.
IBA Group and other Belarus-based IT companies collaborate with BSUIR in the implementation of IBM technologies within the university's education and research programs. The students who receive training at the Academic Center of IBM Competences become professionals in business process automation across various industries, including oil and gas, nuclear power engineering, and railway transport.
Alexei Leshchev, Deputy Director of the Academic Center of IBM Competences, gave the certificates to the graduates and congratulated the best students on their outstanding achievements.
