OREANDA-NEWS. MAYKOR, a leading Russian provider of IT and Business Process Outsourcing services, reports that its partnership with Snow Queen, the largest Russian network of multi-brand fashion stores, has expanded. The parties built on their existing contract for cash register servicing to add another focused on tech support for IT infrastructure.

The project's geographical scope includes over 120 stores across all of Russia in all the country's biggest cities, including Moscow and St. Petersburg. MAYKOR is now responsible for servicing more than 1000 automated workstations in addition to the entire range of store equipment: printers, computers, monitors, continuous power supplies, network equipment, and much more. Further, the outsourcer now provides tech support for new stores opening for the first time and those moving to new locations.

The contract, which will last for one year, will see MAYKOR become Snow Queen's central hub for all issues related to IT infrastructure and cash registers, for which the outsourcer has been responsible since 2011. MAYKOR's objectives include monitoring and prevention, problem resolution, and bringing equipment back online in a timely manner. The client will submit requests via Service Desk that will then be forwarded on to the company's corresponding department for resolution. Centralizing service management will simplify the relationship between the client and MAYKOR, offering up-to-date information at all times on the status of the contract.

“The Snow Queen chain covers all of Russia, while outsourcing is what gives us the ability to effectively handle all technical concerns regardless of the location of the sales point. By partnering with a single IT services provider we significantly streamlined our internal business processes and unified our tech support for IT infrastructure and cash registers throughout all our stores,” noted Alexey Vilkov, director of the IT department at Snow Queen.
