KAMAZ Will Take Care of Environmental Conditions in Sverdlovsk Oblast
OREANDA-NEWS. An agreement of intent was signed between the government of Sverdlovsk Oblast and OJSC KAMAZ at the Innoprom 2014 Exhibition held in Yekaterinburg.
Taking into account great potential of KAMAZ as a producer of a wide NGV range, including NEFAZ buses, and Sverdlovsk Oblast’s need for innovative introduction of energy-efficient vehicles, the parties decided to cooperate promoting the use of natural gas as a motor fuel. This document bears the signatures of Pavel Kanichev, Deputy Director General of Sales and Services of OJSC KAMAZ, and Denis Pasler, Chairman of the Government of Sverdlovsk Oblast.
The partners aim at introducing new technologies and global standards, arranging comfortable and safe environment for passengers and drivers. Besides, the document presupposes replacement of Euro 1, 2, 3 vehicles with Euro 4 and 5 vehicles, also those powered with green gas motors. Under the agreement, it is planned to steadily promote the use of CNG vehicles in enterprises of Sverdlovsk Oblast and develop infrastructure for them. “We will develop our cooperation in several activities, for instance, in foundry and other sectors of metallurgy,” said Denis Pasler emphasizing the possibility of joint actions in other spheres too.
