OREANDA-NEWS. RTSoft finishes the implementation of new equipment at 500 kV substation Arzamasskaya and put into trial operation the automated process control system (PCS).

These works were initiated by request of the Federal Grid Company ("UES FGC"). A large-scale modernization of the equipment took place at the substation and the automated process control system on Arzamasskaya SS should be brought into line with modern standards.

RTSoft delivered the equipment and implemented all the necessary work on its installation and commissioning. In the control system were integrated secondary systems performing various functions, including protection IEDs.

Arzamasskaya SS was commissioned in 1955 and it is one of the key objects of the Nizhny Novgorod grid. It supplies electricity to large power consumers of south region.

Finished works significantly increased the reliability of the SS and the quality of power supply to consumers of the Nizhny Novgorod region. In particular, the RTSoft's equipment ensures the safety operation of such important equipment as gas compressor stations of LLC "Volgotransgas" and traction substations of Gorkiy Railway, which are the main consumers of the SS Arzamasskaya.
