OREANDA-NEWS. According to the preliminary data, the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) international reserve totaled USD 2 498.1 million as of June 30, 2014 that is by US\\$48.8 million less than the index of May 31, 2014.

The international reserve, converted in foreign currency, totaled USD 2 275.2 million, including that floated as securities – USD 1 596.1 million, as well as that on the accounts of foreign banks and International Monetary Fund (IMF) – USD 679.0 million. The amount of funds placed in SDR totaled USD 223 million, while reserve position with IMF totaled USD 15.5 thousand.

Since the beginning of the year, the NBG international reserve has dropped by USD 325.3 million.
